Minneapolis/St. Paul # 1 in MarketWatch study of best metro centers for business.

Minneapolis-St. Paul is where it's at when it comes to business, much more so than any other of the nation's major urban areas. The Twin Cities ranked at the top of a MarketWatch study on the nation's best metro centers for business, winning by a wide margin. Minneapolis-St. Paul got 329 points, 38 points ahead of second-place Denver.

TRANSWESTERN EARNS POWER BROKER HONORS

This week, CoStar announced the winners of the CoStar Power Broker Awards, recognizing the "best of the best" in commercial real estate brokerage, spotlighting the U.S. firms and individual brokers who closed the highest transaction volume in commercial property sales and leases in 2008.

Transwestern Minneapolis/St. Paul earned a spot in the Top Leasing Firms category for the third year in a row and the leasing team of Mike Salmen and Mike Honsa were once again recognized as Top Leasing Brokers.
